Marine decarbonisation consultancy · Palma de Mallorca

Fewer litres,
honestly counted.

We read four years of your fuel logs before we propose anything. Then we tell you which of the retrofits on the table will pay for themselves, which will not, and which one you were about to buy for the wrong reason.

  • No supplier commission
  • Written go / no-go on every study

What we do

Six pieces of work, and what each is honestly worth

How we work

The useful advice is usually the advice against spending

01

We will tell you not to do the refit

Roughly four in ten hybrid feasibility studies we run end in a written recommendation to keep the existing engines. That study is the entire fee on that job, and it kills the installation supervision that would have been worth ten times more to us.

02

We take nothing from suppliers

No commission, no referral fee, no quiet discount from a coatings manufacturer or a battery integrator. It costs us somewhere around €40,000 a year that most consultancies in this sector treat as ordinary income.

03

A new boat is nearly always the worse answer

A 30-metre replacement carries roughly 550 tonnes of embodied carbon before she leaves the shed. Keeping and refitting the hull you already own beats that on almost any arithmetic — which means we argue you into a much smaller job than the one you rang about.

04

We publish the jobs we got wrong

Two shore-power conversions we specified in 2023 came in over budget and under the generator saving we forecast, by 31% and 44%. Both write-ups go out with our proposals, before anyone signs anything.

A surveyor measuring hull roughness on a hauled-out yacht

“They spent two days reading four years of our fuel logs before they proposed a single thing, then told us the battery package we had already been quoted for would take eleven years to pay back on our duty cycle. We did the coatings and the shore-power instead and we are down about 9% on fuel across six boats.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on ecoyachting.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

ecoyachting.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
